Fancl Japan Tense Up EX, HTC Collagen Pills Buys - Tokyo and Osaka

I'm back from my Japan trip with glee and joy! It was a great trip and I'm going to post moments from my trip here over the next week or so.

I wanna share where to buy Fancl skincare products and supplements in Japan first since it was my top priority buy for this trip. The moment we reached Osaka after about 16 hours of traveling (we traveled form Tokyo Narita to Osaka on the 1st day), I bought 3 bottles of the TenseUp EX from the supermarket and kick started my Japanese collagen beauty regime.

In case you're wondering where to get Fancl products in Japan, it's everywhere! You can find the Tense Up EX drink and the HTC collagen pills in almost all toiletries shop. But if you want the full range of product that includes cosmetics, it's best to go to the Fancl House shop.

In Osaka Namba area, the Fancl House shop is situated at the junction of Nagahori-Dori Avenue (Nagahoribashi) and Mido-Suji Avenue, which is a very bustling shopping street. I've uploaded the map for easy reference. It's a little hard to locate the shop as it's underground. You'll have to go to B1 level and look hard for the small blue Fancl signage.

The shop even has a health food and drink corner. Do note that the above directions are for Osaka Namba, Shinsaibahi shopping  area.

As for Tokyo, the Fancl shops are more widely available. There's one right in front of JR Harajuku station. And another right next to Shibuya station. Just head towards Tokyu when you exit at Hachiko exit at JR Shibuya Station and go up to level 2 to look for it.. The Fancl House shop is situated not inside of Tokyu but outside of it.

There's a promotion currently whereby 3 packs (3 month's supply) of Fancl HTC Collagen Pills cost only 4200yen / 67.20SGD. About half the price of that in Singapore! Fancle Tense Up EX drink also cost about half that in Singapore.

I got myself half year's supply coz I saw results after 3 days! My cheeks looked and felt plump up. Hopefully, it's not from my overeating. ;)

For last minute buys for Fancl collagen products in  Narita Airport Terminal 1you can also go to FaSoLa Market. But you won't be able to hand carry the drinks in as the shop is located outside, before the immigration counter.

So happy with these youth elixirs of mine!

Updates:
2 weeks of Tense Up is giving me slightly healthier/rosy complexion. Mum, Sis and BF agree too! =)

BTW, Sheseido just launched their collagen drink in Japan, any feedback on this? Please leave a comment here if you have.

Hi there,

The packs I was referring to are the pills, not bottled drinks.

There was this promotion whereby they bundled 3 packs into 1 big one and sold it cheaper as in my pic for 4200yen:

For the bottled drinks, 3 packs only lasted me 1 month / 30 days.

Cheers,
Mei

Hello Mei,

I've heard the benefits of fancl HTC collagen pill/powder. Do you mind to sell me 1 month supply please.

Looking fwd to your favorable reply. Thanks.

Hi Aman,

I bought them for my own usage and gave some away as gifts too. So, I won't be able to spare any.

But You'll be able to find cheaper ones on ebay. I think some people buy from overseas and sell them slightly cheaper than Singapore's retail price.

Hope you can find what you're looking for there! =)

Cheers,
Mei

Hi,

I've tried Shiseido and Fancl collagen. My friends and I preferred Fancl.

Shiseido has a "unique" taste which we find it not as tasty as Fancl's. The effects are not as good as Fancl's too.

However, I think the bottled collagen have a greater effects compared to powder or tablets. Due to the cost, I have stopped drinking bottled and changed to powder instead. Singapore is selling so expensive and I agree it's almost double the price in Japan!! O_o

Hey Carrie,

Thanks for sharing!

Same here, I find the FANCL liquid bottle collagen is better than the pills. I got a few packs so am still eating it here in SG. But not much of effects anymore... :(

hi can i check with am I able to bring the tense ex drink up in the aircraft or i have to do a check in? because I was thinking of buying 5 boxes.

Hi hi,

You'll need to check in drinks as they cannot be hand carried.

You can bring the pills on-board though.

But I find the drinks more effective than the pills though.

Cheers! =)

Hi Mei,

Just wondering whether you know if the other fancl products in Japan is relatively cheaper than in SG?

Thanks. :)

Hi,

Fancl products are generally cheaper in Japan as compared to Singapore.

So, do stock up on them if you use them. ;)

Hi,

I intend to buy 10 boxes and check in my luggage. Does the store help you to bubble-wrap them? I'm afraid the bottles will break.

Mei said...

Hi,

I do not know that. But the bottles come packed in a hard box and they won't move around. That was sufficient for me to send them back without breaking.

Cheers,
Mei

Hi,

Did you pay for the gst charges during your last trip? Coz I am expecting to shop a lot for my maiden trip in Japan!!

Hi there,

I didn't have to. Will they ask you to pay for GST if you have a lot of shopping items?

I am not aware of this...
